Hüseyin Gürün

Hüseyin Gürün is an entrepreneur and real estate developer operating in Northern Cyprus. As the founder and manager of Rünn Development, he works in residential and commercial real estate, as well as land development.

Born in Gazimağusa in 1993, Gürün completed his high school education in the United States of America, then earned his bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Technology from Manchester Metropolitan University in England, and his master’s degree in Supply Chain and Logistics Management from Warwick University.

Gürün began his career in export and business development at Akgöl Dairies and Food Packaging Ltd. After gaining experience in the Turkish and Middle Eastern markets, he moved into real estate development.

Today, under the roof of Rünn Development, he develops high-investment-value projects that are sustainable and contribute to regional development. Among the projects he leads are the Geçitkale Parcelling Project, the K’SABA residential project, and various commercial real estate investments.

Continuing his work with an innovative approach and investment-oriented vision, Hüseyin Gürün is married and the father of one child.

Haluk Barutcuoğlu

Haluk Barutcuoğlu is an executive with many years of experience in telecommunications, retail, and international operations management. After Saint Michel French High School, he graduated from the Faculty of Business Administration at Bilkent University.

Barutcuoğlu began his professional career at Telsim, and later took on important roles in the establishment and growth process of IKEA Turkey, serving as Country Operations Manager. Following his successful career in Turkey, he held senior executive positions in Saudi Arabia and Qatar, gaining experience in international operations and team management.

With his human-centred leadership approach, operational expertise, and experience gained in different cultures, Barutcuoğlu has left a strong mark in the business world. Today, he continues to share his knowledge and experience with new generations. With his mentoring approach, he develops projects together with young professionals and transfers his years of accumulated experience to the future.

Ülkem Onur Mert

Ülkem Mert began his career in software, technology, and digital marketing; after completing a master’s degree in energy systems engineering, he held project management roles in the renewable energy and HVAC sectors.

Later, for approximately six years in the United Kingdom, he took on project management and senior-level operations roles in the digital marketing, software, and interaction sectors, working on brands and projects on an international scale. By bringing the knowledge and experience he gained during this period to Cyprus, he carried out important work in the field of digital marketing.

Following his achievements in Cyprus, Ülkem Mert turned to the real estate and construction sectors, where he is active today. Prioritising the principles of honesty, transparency, quality, and merit in business life, Mert believes that sustainable success is possible through trust-based relationships and the right business principles.

Defining himself as a goal-oriented, disciplined, and solution-producing professional, Ülkem Mert continues to create value in the business world by bringing together the experiences he has gained in different sectors.
